Santa Ana Track and Field Friday February 26

Mike Rose, of Fullerton College, finished second in the men’s long jump, a sport played as far back as the ancient Egyptians, in Friday’s track meet at Santa Ana College with a 6.50-meter jump. His jump helped lead Fullerton College to a win over Santa Ana and Golden West College. The win was the men’s first victory of the year.

A deep scream echoed at Santa Ana College on Friday as Miles Davy launched his javelin a distance of 146-meters. Davy’s effort was enough to earn him second place in the event, but his Goldenwest College Rustlers fell short as Fullerton College captured its first victory of the year.
