Fullerton Arboretum: New Entrance Construction

The Fullerton Arboretum is in the process of getting a new entrance. I snapped some shots of the construction process for the Daily Titan. These were the two shots that got published.

The sound of birds chirping was overshadowed by the sound of an air compressor in the early hours of a Saturday morning, as Rodrigo Canales of HBA Incorporated worked on the framework of the dressed brick masonry that will be laid down for the new entrance of the Fullerton Arboretum. According to the Arboretum’s website “This new entrance will dramatically improve the appearance of the main entry walkway.”

HBA Incorporated’s Mike Lambert, Juan Orellana, and Rodrigo Canales discuss the next steps in the building process of the Fullerton Arboretum’s new entrance, that promises to, “dramatically improve the appearance of the main entry,” in the early hours of a Saturday morning. “The entrance should be open to the public in about 2-3 weeks,” Orellana shouted over a roaring air compressor.
